Is laxity of the skin a real concern?

ThermiTight is a minimally invasive procedure that has been shown to be effective in improving the appearance of a sagging jawline. The treatment works by delivering radiofrequency energy to the underlying tissues, which causes them to heat up and stimulate collagen production.

Collagen is a protein that provides structure to the skin and helps it to maintain its elasticity. As we age, collagen production slows down, which can lead to sagging skin and wrinkles. ThermiTight can help to address this issue by increasing collagen production in the treated area, resulting in tighter and more youthful-looking skin.

Several studies have investigated the effectiveness of ThermiTight in improving the appearance of sagging skin on the face and neck. A study published in the journal Dermatologic Surgery evaluated the results of ThermiTight treatment in 15 patients with sagging skin on the lower face and neck. The study found that all of the patients experienced improvement in their skin laxity, with an average improvement of 35.3%.

Another study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology evaluated the results of ThermiTight treatment in 20 patients with sagging skin on the face and neck. The study found that all the patients experienced improvement in their skin laxity, with an average improvement of 25.5%. The study also found that the improvements were still evident 6 months after the treatment.

In addition to improving skin laxity, ThermiTight has also been shown to be effective in reducing the appearance of wrinkles. A study published in the journal Lasers in Surgery and Medicine evaluated the results of ThermiTight treatment in 10 patients with wrinkles on the lower face and neck. The study found that all the patients experienced improvement in their wrinkles, with an average improvement of 34.3%.

Overall, the scientific data suggests that ThermiTight is an effective treatment for improving the appearance of sagging skin and wrinkles on the face, neck, arms, legs and abdominal area.
